The
first impression of driving Nubira is that it steers and handles like
no
traditional Korean cars. In fact, it is even sharper and feels richer
than
all Japanese competitors bar Honda Civic. How can Daewoo achieve this ?
In fact, base on the Opel Vectra's suspensions, it employed Porsche as
their consultant, test and tune the car extensively in Germany. No
wonder
it could be so good. Of course, it is still no Peugeot.
Besides chassis,
fine engines
(helped by Holden) and decent cabin are also competitive factors. Yes,
its IDEA-styled enclosure does not look attractive, but which Japanese
car in this segment looks attractive ?
